The thermoforming process consists of changing the form of a thermoplastic sheet through heat and pressure. Certain thermoforming conditions must be must be met in order to maintain the required two phase polymer network that provide the ESD path in Stat-Rite polymer alloys. Therefore, the selection of thermoforming conditions are critical for maximizing the electrical and mechanical results.
